In the United States and European countries, actions against Elon Musk are becoming increasingly active. People are organized picketing near Tesla dealerships, protesting his involvement in the initiatives of Donald Trump's administration. According to CNN, last Saturday demonstrations took place near more than fifty Tesla showrooms across the US.

The campaign, known as "Tesla Takedown," aims to encourage owners to sell their cars, get rid of the manufacturer's shares, and join rallies. One of the key initiators is director and actor Alex Winter. He emphasizes that the main task is to get Tesla shareholders to express no confidence in Musk.

The idea for the first action within "Tesla Takedown" arose after Winter's conversation with sociologist Joan Donovan, who teaches at Boston University. It was she who advised organizing the campaign through the social network Bluesky, which is positioned as an alternative to Musk-owned platform X.

It is worth noting that events around Tesla are unfolding against the backdrop of international tension that has also affected Ukraine. After Volodymyr Zelenskyy's talks with Donald Trump at the White House, their dispute over the course of the war with Russia caused significant public resonance. Musk, who openly supports Trump, has come under criticism not only for the American leader's economic policy but also for attempts to influence global political processes.

Now Tesla is more than just an automaker. The company has become a symbol that activists have chosen as their target. Will these protests have real consequences for Musk? Will shareholders be able to remove him from management? So far, the businessman remains confident, but the pressure on him is constantly increasing.
