The Lexus LX 2022 has moved to the new TNGA GA-F platform, already familiar to us from the Toyota Land Cruiser 300. The engine lineup also moved over from its less prestigious sibling. The top version of the SUV received the LX 600 index, and under its hood is a twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 producing 415 hp and 650 Nm. The diesel modification LX 500d also has a V6 engine, but with a displacement of 3.3 liters (300 hp, 700 Nm). The automatic transmission for all versions is now 10-speed.

The new LX has noticeably "lost weight." The excess weight was shed not only thanks to less voluminous engines, but also due to the fully aluminum roof, as well as the new Active Height Control suspension with AVS adaptive dampers.

The interior now boasts two screens at once: a 7-inch one for climate settings and off-road modes, and a 12.3-inch one for all other tasks (navigation, camera, etc.). True, the upper display is not very harmoniously integrated into the front panel.

In the top VIP trim, two separate seats are installed in the rear row, where passengers can recline semi-recumbent (the seat can be tilted 48 degrees), and place their feet on a footrest in the back of the front seat.
