The name stands for Urban Coupe. From the photos, it's easy to guess that the car is based on the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ coupe, but slightly larger – about 4.5 meters in length.
The Lexus UC has the same silhouette with a long hood and a cabin pushed back. However, the front part, apparently, will be made in the signature Lexus style – with a spindle grille. Inside, the trim will likely be improved.
In addition, the new Lexus UC will differ somewhat from the Toyota GR86 from a technical standpoint. The sports car will get a 2.4-liter boxer engine with 235 hp, like its sibling, but it will be paired with an electric motor. That is, the UC will become a hybrid, and the power will exceed 250 hp.
