The Lexus NX 2022 has moved to the TNGA platform, like its sibling the Toyota RAV4. The car has grown to 4660 mm in length, 1865 mm in width, and 1650 mm in height, and its wheelbase has increased to 2690 mm. At the same time, the weight has been reduced by 90 kg.

The design of the Lexus NX 2022 remains familiar – with a sloping roof, slanted LED headlights, and a huge spindle grille. The F-Sport version traditionally looks more aggressive and has received 20-inch wheels.

Inside, a virtual instrument cluster and a huge touchscreen (with a diagonal of 9.8 or 14 inches) have appeared, and there is now also a head-up display. The F-Sport has sport seats and a sport steering wheel.

The base trim of the Lexus NX has been supplemented with heated seats, adaptive cruise control, automatic braking systems, lane keeping and traffic sign recognition. Among the options now are wireless smartphone charging and intersection monitoring (it alerts about oncoming cars when turning left or pedestrians at a crosswalk).

The base Lexus NX 2022 received a 2.5-liter 206-horsepower engine from the same RAV4, while the 2.4-liter 275-horsepower turbo engine is completely new. With it, the Lexus crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 6.8 seconds.

Lexus NX hybrids will also be offered with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder and a pair of electric motors. The standard parallel hybrid develops 240 hp, and the plug-in hybrid – 306 hp (as in Toyota RAV4 Plug-In). In the latter case, acceleration to 100 km/h takes about 6 seconds and you can drive 58 km in electric mode.
Gasoline versions received an 8-speed automatic transmission, while hybrids got a CVT. Drive can be front or all-wheel. The F-Sport has adaptive dampers.
