The published official photos show a prototype of the first Rolls-Royce electric car. Despite the camouflage, it is clear that this will be a two-door coupe in the style of the Wraith. It has the same elongated body with a sloping roof. At the front – the characteristic "Rolls" front-end design, and in profile, the "aerodynamic" wheels (a popular element among modern EVs) catch the eye.

The car will be called the Rolls-Royce Spectre. As with the Ghost, Dawn, and Cullinan, this name has "ghostly" roots.

There is also some information about the technical side. It is known that the first Rolls-Royce electric car will be built on the Architecture of Luxury platform. This chassis debuted in 2017 and already underpins the Cullinan, as well as the latest Ghost and Phantom. The main feature of the architecture is that it provides for the installation of an electric powertrain from scratch.

During the presentation of the prototype, Rolls-Royce CEO Torsten Müller-Ötvös stated that the electric motor is ideal for the brand's cars. "It is quiet, refined, and almost instantly creates torque, generating exceptional power," the top manager emphasized.

Before the Rolls-Royce Spectre hits the market, it will undergo road tests on different continents in different climatic conditions. In total, the car must cover 2.5 million km.
