Despite the huge amount of free space inside, the Trax Cruiser is indeed an SUV, not a van. Moreover, its design features hints of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class (note the profile) and the classic Toyota Land Cruiser J70 series. And it's also a very cheap model – the base version is priced at $15.6 thousand, and the top one at $18.1 thousand.

The Trax Cruiser is 5.12 meters long, with a wheelbase of 3.05 meters (and that, we remind you, with a 13-seat capacity!). The secret to its incredible spaciousness lies in the cabin configuration: the main passenger compartment seats 5 people, and the remaining eight sit in the cargo area on longitudinally mounted seats.

On board there is also a multimedia system with a modest touchscreen, similar in design and functionality to navigation systems from 10 years ago, as well as a manual air conditioner that most likely cannot handle hot days.

The engine is also quite modest – a 2.6-liter turbodiesel producing 90 hp and 250 Nm of torque. Obviously, the motor cannot deliver decent dynamic performance, especially when fully loaded, when the total weight exceeds 3 tons. The unit works with a 5-speed manual gearbox and permanent all-wheel drive.
