Mitsubishi Outlander 2021 was created after the Japanese brand moved under the wing of the Renault-Nissan alliance, and the platform for it was borrowed from the Nissan X-Trail. The Mitsubishi crossover has grown to 4680 mm in length and 1860 mm in width with a wheelbase of 2705 mm.

The interior now features strict lines. For the first time, the Mitsubishi Outlander offers a virtual instrument panel and a head-up display, and the touchscreen has been increased to 9 inches in diagonal. As before, 5- and 7-seat versions will be offered, with the second-row seats having horizontal adjustment.

Initially, the Mitsubishi crossover will be equipped only with a 2.5-liter 184-horsepower four-cylinder engine and a CVT. Later, a 224-horsepower plug-in hybrid Mitsubishi Outlander will also appear with an increased electric range of about 70 km.

The crossover received the proprietary S-AWC all-wheel drive of a new generation. In addition, modes for different types of road surfaces are provided.
