The tS sports line will be distinguished by improved handling, special exterior styling, and an exclusively manual gearbox.

The differences from the previous batch of tS coupes are in the details: the 2020 model year lineup features matte bronze 18-inch wheels, whereas the 2018 coupe had black wheels, and a more compact and lower rear wing on the trunk lid. Otherwise, the recipe for "transforming" a regular BRZ into the tS version remains unchanged: stiffer springs are installed, the stock shock absorbers are replaced with Sachs units, a flexible V-shaped strut brace appears in the engine bay, the chassis gains additional stiffening ribs, and the front bumper loses its fog lights.
The interior of the limited-run BRZ is adorned with black leather and Alcantara with red accents on the seats, seat belts, steering wheel, gear shift knob, sun visors, and door panels.

The technical content remains the same: under the hood is a 2.0-liter boxer engine producing 208 horsepower. The transmission is exclusively a six-speed manual, and power distribution to the rear wheels is aided by a Torsen differential.
The new batch of BRZ tS is intended for the North American market. Prices are already known — the tS version will cost $32,395, which is $900 more than the "regular" coupe with an automatic transmission.
