The BMW Vision M Next demonstrates the philosophy that the Bavarians call "D-ACES," which is formed from the five main principles of the brand's future: design, autonomous driving, connectivity, electrification, services.

The concept car, whose silhouette resembles the current i8, features a unique design for the front and rear of the body, painted in Thrilling Orange. In addition, a number of elements reference the original M1 model, which was produced from 1978 to 1981. Finally, the prototype's distinctive features include a radiator grille with laser engraving, narrow sharp-angled optics with organic light-emitting diodes (OLED), and butterfly doors.

The BMW Vision M Next is equipped with a hybrid powertrain based on a new two-liter four-cylinder turbocharged engine, which will be installed in future M models over the next few years. The internal combustion engines work together with two electric motors, one located on the front axle and the other on the rear.

In total, the units produce 600 horsepower. The BMW Vision M Next can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in three seconds, and its top speed is 300 km/h. Exclusively on electric power, the car can travel up to 100 kilometers.
