The new product is built on a modernized modular MQB platform, which allowed the front axle to be significantly moved forward, thereby increasing the free space in the cabin and luggage compartment.

The trunk size will be 455 liters — the company claims this is the maximum figure in this segment. And with the rear row fully folded, its volume increases to 1281 liters, which should be enough to take hockey equipment, a bicycle, or snowboards on board.

According to preliminary data, the engine lineup will include three-cylinder turbocharged units with a displacement of one liter and power of 95 and 110 hp. Transmissions — six-speed manual or a robot with two clutches. In addition, the range will include a 150-horsepower 1.5-liter turbo-four, as well as two 1.6-liter diesel engines with 95 and 115 hp.

The standard equipment of the crossover will include a frontal collision prevention system and a lane keeping function. As an option, a fully digital instrument panel, a multimedia complex with an eight-inch touchscreen display, as well as a wireless charging station for a smartphone will be available.
