The new model has received a design in the spirit of the now fashionable "four-door coupes": a sloping roof, more expressive front and rear lights.

This "coupe-like" style should compensate for the disappearance of the two-door version, which was discontinued due to weak demand.
The car's dimensions have changed: length has been reduced to 4880 mm (minus 10 mm), while the wheelbase, on the contrary, has grown to 2831 mm (plus 55 mm). Width has increased to 1859 mm (+10 mm), height has decreased to 1451 mm (–15 mm). The trunk has become more spacious — 473 liters instead of the previous, an increase of 26 liters.

The interior has also been completely redesigned: the driver is greeted by a new three-spoke steering wheel, a different instrument panel, and a center console with an updated multimedia system display.
The range of power units has been revised from scratch. The entry-level is now a 1.5-liter turbo engine Earth Dreams VTEC Turbo with 195 hp and 260 Nm of torque. It is paired either with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a CVT.

For more expensive trim levels, a 2.0-liter turbo engine producing 255 hp is available, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The hybrid modification will remain in the lineup, but its technical parameters are still kept secret.

The tenth-generation Accord will be assembled at Honda's plant in the American state of Ohio. Sales are scheduled to start at the end of the year, with prices to be announced later.
