The Koreans tried to bring the new show car as close as possible to the production version, but the spectacular front optics and impressive wheel rims are unlikely to make it to the assembly line. However, the interior really looks almost production-ready.

Under the hood of the concept is a 180-horsepower diesel engine with a displacement of 2.2 liters. Paired with the engine is a 7-speed automatic transmission, which, along with the engine, was borrowed from Mercedes. The Koreans did not disclose any other technical specifications.

According to preliminary information, the future Rexton will be built on a completely new platform but will remain true to its body-on-frame construction. The flagship SUV may debut next spring in Geneva.
