Judging by the images, this will be a fairly compact SUV. It is very likely that it will become an inexpensive alternative to the Suzuki Jimny – more precisely, its extended five-door version, which will be presented in the near future.
The angular SsangYong X200 with round headlights, a "toothy" radiator grille and widened fenders is very reminiscent of the Jeep Wrangler. However, its creators claim that they were inspired by old SsangYong Korando models. Also noteworthy is the sliding fabric roof.
So far, there are few details about the model. It is known that the new SsangYong Korando will receive both gasoline and diesel engines, as well as an electrified version. However, it is not yet clear whether it will be a hybrid or an electric car.
Despite the recent bankruptcy, SsangYong continues to actively develop new models. Moreover, among them there will be inexpensive electric vehicles.
