The emergence of the new sub-brand was preceded by the Buick Avenir concept car (pictured), which debuted at the Detroit auto show at the beginning of last year. This show model stood out with a premium interior finish made using only natural materials.
The name of the new series translates from French as "future" and indicates that Buick will focus on prestigious versions of its cars. Cars of the Avenir lineup will receive unique radiator grilles, special body color options, and an expanded list of equipment.
