The new SsangYong Rexton is recognizable by its enlarged radiator grille and modified headlights with LED optics. In addition, the taillights have been replaced and new design alloy wheels ranging from 17 to 20 inches are offered.

Inside, a new four-spoke steering wheel and a different automatic transmission selector have appeared. Furthermore, the SsangYong Rexton 2021 received a virtual instrument cluster and a more modern 9-inch touchscreen. The list of options has been supplemented with adaptive cruise control.

The power of the 2.2-liter turbodiesel has been increased from 187 to 202 hp, and now it is paired with a new 8-speed automatic transmission. However, the version with the 2.0-liter 225-horsepower gasoline turbo engine remains with a 6-speed automatic. Naturally, there is also all-wheel drive with a low-range gear.
