Buyers of Ford models are now offered a one-liter petrol turbo engine from the EcoBoost family, which recently won the title of the best engine on the planet. This power unit can deliver 100 or 125 horsepower depending on the version. Brand representatives emphasize that both versions of this engine demonstrate identical fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emission figures. Thus, the Ford C-Max, equipped with this three-cylinder engine, consumes 5.1 liters of gasoline per hundred kilometers in the combined cycle, emitting 117 grams of CO2 per kilometer. As for the Grand C-Max, its appetite is slightly higher — 5.2 liters per 100 km, with emissions of 119 g/km.
In addition, on the same day, information appeared about the expansion of the list of available versions for the C-Max and Grand C-Max: a new top trim level Titanium X has been added, featuring a panoramic glass roof, leather upholstery for the front seats, and 17-inch light alloy wheels.
