Over 18 years, the Hyundai Getz has covered 270,000 km, and traces of corrosion have been found on the body, and one should not forget about metal fatigue. Nevertheless, the B-class hatchback has proven itself quite well.

Hyundai Getz crash test

The car was subjected to a frontal collision with a non-deformable barrier at a speed of 50 km/h. The seat belt pretensioners deployed in 17 milliseconds, and the airbags in 19 ms.

Of course, by modern standards, the body deformation was significant, but the doors of the Hyundai Getz opened easily, and the pedal assembly and roof pillars survived.

It should be noted that the EuroNCAP organization conducted a crash test of the Hyundai Getz in 2004. The hatchback received 4 stars, but it should be noted that since then, EuroNCAP safety standards have been repeatedly tightened.
