The German video blog TopSpeedGermany has published a video in which testers squeeze the maximum out of various cars. Their selection includes both fresh models and examples with considerable wear, including sports cars and even commercial vehicles.
The focus was on the Volkswagen Golf GTI G60, a fairly rare modification of the model. Under the hood of this hot hatch is a 1.8-liter supercharged engine producing 160 horsepower.
As the video demonstrates, the Volkswagen Golf GTI G60 reaches 230 km/h without much effort. For a car that is already three decades old and has covered 180 thousand kilometers, the result is quite respectable.
By the way, earlier the TopSpeedGermany team conducted a similar measurement on a regular diesel Volkswagen Golf, whose mileage exceeded one million kilometers.
