A new speed record was set at a test site in Uvalde, Texas. To achieve this, American engineers used an SUV with a thousand horsepower output, under the hood of which was an upgraded six-cylinder 6.2-liter engine paired with a supercharger. The tree was placed on the roof and secured especially carefully so that it would not come off and fly away during the drive.

As a result, the car reached a speed of 290 kilometers per hour. This is 10 km/h more than the previous achievement of the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, which a few years ago accelerated with a tree on its roof to 280 kilometers per hour.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk in the tuning studio's version debuted in the autumn of last year. The modified 6.2-liter V8 Hellcat engine is offered in three tuning options: 850, 1000, and 1200 horsepower. The most powerful version of the crossover accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.3 seconds, and its top speed reaches 322 kilometers per hour.
