The new Jeep Commander will be unveiled at the end of this year, and initially its production will be set up in Brazil and India. In 2022, the model will enter markets outside Asia and South America. If it enters the European market, the model will challenge the Skoda Kodiaq and Seat Tarraco.

First teasers of Jeep Commander

Judging by the first images, the design of the Jeep Commander largely repeats the Compass, although there are differences. For example, the headlights, bumpers, and radiator grille are somewhat different.

Inside, the steering wheel, virtual instrument cluster, and central panel with a large touchscreen are borrowed from the updated Jeep Compass 2021 almost unchanged. Since the crossover's dimensions will be relatively small (4.6-4.7 m in length), the third row of seats is likely intended for children.

It is known that in the Brazilian market, the Jeep crossover will get a 1.3-liter 180-horsepower gasoline turbo engine and 2.0-liter turbodiesels with 140 and 170 hp. The appearance of a plug-in hybrid with 190 hp is also possible.
