Euro NCAP experts highly praised the safety of the Audi Q7. Protection for the driver and adult passengers scored 92%, children 86%, pedestrians 71%, and electronic assistants scored 72%. In a frontal impact, there is a possible risk of chest injuries for the front passenger and driver. Most safety systems received positive reviews, but the performance of lane keeping and speed limiter was rated only satisfactory.

The Subaru Forester crossover also earned the maximum five stars. It scored 97% for adult safety, 91% for children, 80% for other road users, and 78% for electronic assistants. Dummy data showed only a significant risk of chest injury for the passenger in a frontal collision. Specialists praised almost all assistance systems, but there were complaints about the effectiveness of speed control. For pedestrians, the main threat is posed by the car's side pillars.

The Porsche Taycan electric car, one of the key premieres of the Frankfurt Motor Show and already available for order in Russia, also scored the maximum number of points. The high rating was ensured by reliable protection for the driver and passengers (85%). At the same time, experts noted the likelihood of chest injury for the front passenger in a frontal impact, as well as the risk of neck injury for passengers in a rear-end collision. For child protection, the German electric car scored 83%, for electronics 73%, and for pedestrian safety 70%.

The Tesla Model X electric car became one of the safest in the ranking. It successfully passed almost all crash tests, and the only remark from specialists was a slight probability of chest injury for the passenger in a frontal collision with a deformable barrier and a similar injury for the driver in a full-width impact. As a result, the Model X received five Euro NCAP stars.

The new Skoda Octavia, which will appear in Russia only at the end of next year, has already undergone crash tests. It scored 92% for adult safety, 88% for children, 73% for other road users, and electronic assistants were rated at 79%. Specialists noted the good performance of almost all assistance systems, but the effectiveness of speed control was rated low. This did not prevent the Octavia from earning five stars.

The Renault Captur, vying for the title of "European Car of the Year," earned 96% for driver and adult passenger protection and 83% for child safety. For the operation of safety systems and pedestrian protection, it scored 75% and 74%, respectively. The Peugeot 2008 showed similar results, also earning five stars with an additional safety package.

Two new Fords, the Kuga and Mondeo, achieved high ratings. However, the Volkswagen Sharan and Seat Alhambra could only get four stars. In both cases, the result was influenced by the high risk of chest injury for the passenger in a frontal collision. The main remark from experts was the performance of the lane keeping system.

The only participant in the crash tests with three stars was the Jeep Renegade SUV. The rating was affected by the likelihood of chest injuries for the passenger and driver in frontal and side impacts. Also, in a rear-end collision, there is a risk of neck injury for the passenger.

In the end, the SUV's adult protection was rated at 82%, child protection at 84%, electronic systems at 58%, and pedestrian safety at 55%.
