While the base versions of the Radar remain fully electric, the King Kong EM-P received a 1.5-liter turbo engine paired with two electric motors. The total output is 349 hp, and the torque is 914 Nm. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 6.3 seconds, which sounds quite convincing for a utilitarian pickup.
But the main thing is efficiency. Thanks to a 19.1 kWh battery, the car can travel up to 100 km on electric power alone. In combined mode, fuel consumption is only 1.5 L/100 km, and with an empty battery — 6.4 L/100 km. Add to that all-wheel drive with off-road settings and an optional bidirectional charging — the car can power electrical appliances, which will be useful in nature or on expeditions.
The model will be available in two length options — 5.25 m (standard) and 5.5 m (extended version), with a payload capacity of 1000 kg. In terms of design — no surprises: the hybrid is identical to the electric Radar RD6. Inside — a digital instrument panel and a large 14.6-inch touchscreen for the multimedia system.
In China, the new product can already be purchased for 139,800 – 159,800 yuan (about $19,500 – 22,200). Later, the plug-in hybrid will go on export under the name Riddara RD6.
