In May, MAN became the leader among truck manufacturers: 102 such vehicles were registered. This result put the German brand at the top of the ranking. The second place went to Renault, which registered 98 units, and the third to Peugeot with a result of 88 vehicles. Further down the list were Citroën (79 vehicles) and Mercedes-Benz (75 vehicles) — both brands continue to remain among the favorites of Ukrainian carriers.

However, even with such successes of individual players, the overall market picture shows a decline in activity. During January–May 2025, 4,774 new trucks and special vehicles were registered in Ukraine, which is 5% less than in the same period last year.

This dynamic is explained by several factors at once: exchange rate instability, rising logistics costs, difficulties with importing special equipment, and a partial shift of buyers to imported used vehicles. In addition, the military situation also has an impact, restraining the plans of medium and large businesses regarding purchases.

Despite this, the market does not lose activity and remains stable. In summer, a revival is expected: companies usually begin updating their fleets ahead of the autumn peak in transportation.
