Such narrow specialization of the enterprise will make it possible to fine-tune technological cycles and increase the output of cargo-passenger versions, whose market position is especially important for Toyota now.
In addition, the manufacturer announced preparations for the release of a new-generation van aimed at the commercial sector. This confirms the company's course toward developing this direction and its desire to offer business clients relevant, technologically advanced, and economical vehicles.
The transfer of Alphard and Vellfire assembly to the Tahara facilities, in turn, demonstrates Toyota's intention to maintain the quality and technical equipment standards for these premium-class models. At the same time, this frees up resources in Inabe, which will be directed toward expanding the commercial product range.
