The thing is, VinFast was founded by none other than Pham Nhat Vuong, the creator of the popular instant noodles "Mivina". It was in Ukraine that the Vietnamese businessman earned his starting capital, and then sold the successful enterprise and returned to his homeland to get into car manufacturing.

VinFast's lineup includes both electric cars and gasoline models. Most likely, electric vehicles will be supplied for export, because cars with big voracious V8s may not fit into the new strict eco-standards of the EU and the USA.

Currently, three electric crossovers VinFast have been presented, but only two of them are planned for export. The five-seat VinFast VF32 reaches 4.75 m in length and is equipped with two motors (one per axle) with a total power of 402 hp. The 90 kWh battery provides a range of 504 km. The base includes heated steering wheel, ventilated seats, and a 15.4-inch touchscreen.

The seven-seat VinFast VF33 crossover is larger – 5120 mm in length, but is equipped with the same powertrain as the VF32. However, its battery is more capacious (106 kWh), and therefore the range is longer – 550 km. The equipment includes matrix headlights, and a semi-autonomous driving system is available for an additional cost.

In 2022, VinFast plans to sell 56 thousand electric cars. To make the cars cheaper, their batteries will be leased.
