Volkswagen Lamando is a D-class model, like the Passat, but it is cheaper than its sibling – from 150 thousand yuan ($23,200). However, it uses the same MQB Evo platform. The car reaches 4784 mm in length, 1831 mm in width, and 1469 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2731 mm.

The new Volkswagen Lamando is no longer a sedan, but a liftback. It has a rather expressive design with an arched roof, slanting headlights, and a huge radiator grille in the shape of a smile. The taillights are connected by a transparent strip.

That is, the Lamando is an inexpensive alternative not only to the Volkswagen Passat, but also to the Arteon. Initially, the model will be offered only with a 1.4-liter 150-horsepower gasoline turbo engine and a 7-speed robot with two clutches DSG.
