At the same time, unlike the nationwide trend, cars without mileage prevailed on the capital's new car market — they accounted for 75% of all primary registrations in Kyiv.

Earlier it was reported that for January-July, 97.8 thousand passenger cars were registered across Ukraine, of which only 46.2 thousand, or 47%, turned out to be new.

Among new passenger cars, residents of the capital most often chose the Audi A3 over seven months — 552 Kyiv drivers purchased this model.

The top five also included: Volkswagen Polo — 528 units; Volkswagen Golf — 521 units; Skoda Octavia — 518 units, and Toyota RAV-4 — 484 units.

As for imported used cars, Kyiv residents preferred the Volkswagen Passat model. Since the beginning of the year, 397 such cars have been registered in the capital.

Next in the ranking of leaders among older cars were: electric Nissan Leaf — 327 units; Renault Megane — 219 units; Volkswagen Jetta — 205 units, and Volkswagen Golf — 176 units.
