The concept car replicates the appearance of the famous W125 racing car that competed on tracks in 1937. But under its body, instead of a twelve-cylinder gasoline engine, there is an electric powertrain.

The EQ Silver Arrow powertrain develops 750 horsepower. The range without recharging for this prototype reaches 400 kilometers. The car is based on the MEG platform. The body panels are made of carbon and painted in the signature silver shade.

The overall length of the concept is 5.3 meters. The equipment includes a rear wing, lighting styled in line with the electric EQ family, and 24-inch wheels. Inside, a futuristic atmosphere prevails: the roadster's interior is trimmed with leather and wood, and the steering wheel houses a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen.

According to preliminary data, a similar electric setup will be used in a luxurious large electric car that is set to become the flagship of the "green" EQ lineup. It is expected that this car, whose debut is scheduled for 2020, will be called EQ S. Judging by spy photos published earlier, the car will feature minimal front and rear overhangs, a sloping roofline, large front doors, and a wide windshield.
