In November, arctic fuel was reserved by companies such as OKKO, Avtotrans, SOCAR, Alliance Oil Ukraine, Grand Petrol, and Katral Oil.
The total volume of arctic diesel fuel supplies to Ukraine reached 0.4 thousand tons (second class) and 0.5 thousand tons (first class). The customs value of this resource for first-class diesel fuel (with a freezing point down to –26 degrees) is $490–500 per ton, and for second-class diesel fuel (down to –32 degrees) — $510–530 per ton.
As reported by Consulting Group A-95, the markup on second-class arctic diesel fuel produced by the Novopolotsk refinery reaches $65 per ton, while for the product of the Mozyr refinery it is $67 per ton. For comparison, regular winter grades come with a premium of only $25–27 per ton.
According to suppliers, this resource is planned to be used to supply their own retail networks, and in the future — possibly for sales on the wholesale market.
