Volvo plans to modernize its proprietary Sensus multimedia system with the support of Google.
The second generation of the Sensus media center will be created by Google specialists based on the Android operating system. The new platform should make the complex more convenient and easier to use.
According to Volvo President Håkan Samuelsson, the partnership with Google will allow the Swedish company to focus its work on other areas, such as the development of electric powertrains.
