An eighteen-year-old resident of Norway managed to lose his driver's license just 58 minutes after receiving it.

Police officers stopped the young man for speeding: he accelerated to 84 km/h, while the speed limit on this section is 50 km/h. Unlike Ukraine, where there is an unofficial 20 km/h "discount", Norwegian laws do not provide for such indulgences. Therefore, for such a violation, the guy's license was immediately confiscated.

To get behind the wheel again, he will have to retake the exams, but not before he pays all the fines. As local police officer Ror Olsen noted, Norwegian youth usually lose their licenses a few weeks or months after receiving them. But losing the document in just an hour is, in his words, a real record for the country.
