Over 150 thousand km out of 170 thousand km require serious repair. The situation with artificial structures is no better, with 46% of them meeting current standards, and the remaining 54% being in a critical, pre-emergency state.
Nevertheless, in the current year, the state budget provides only 2.7 billion hryvnias for repair and reconstruction purposes, which is at least half of the industry's needs for minor repairs and maintenance costs alone. There is no talk of any serious repair or reconstruction.
