The question of introducing penalty sanctions remains open for now, but the State Automobile Inspectorate is already preparing relevant proposals. Such a measure deserves approval, since operating a car on summer tires at low road surface temperatures is accompanied by deteriorated handling and an increased braking distance.
This initiative is not the only one in the plans of the State Automobile Inspectorate. The possibility of tightening punishment for driving a vehicle while intoxicated is also being considered.
It is worth recalling that, according to the data of the State Automobile Inspectorate of Ukraine, over the past ten months, 10,015 cases of illegal vehicle seizure were recorded, which is 4,787 cases more compared to the same period last year. In this regard, the State Automobile Inspectorate again urges vehicle owners to take a more responsible approach to choosing parking places, especially at night.
