Now the Japanese automaker has shown what the new model looks like inside, clarified its specifications and price. Initially, the car will go on sale in the North American market.

The interior of the model is in keeping with the exterior, and one can safely say it is revolutionary: an asymmetrical instrument panel with a large touchscreen, a second auxiliary screen located at the bottom of the central console, and an information strip with instrument readings. The cabin has a four-seat layout with an armrest separating the rear seats.

The powertrain of the Toyota Mirai turned out to be more powerful than expected - 155 hp (114 kW). The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 9 seconds. As previously reported, the full range on a single fill is 483 km, and refilling the hydrogen tank takes no more than 5 minutes.

In the US, the hydrogen car will arrive in autumn 2015 with a starting price of $57,000. However, considering various government incentives for buyers of "green" cars, the car could cost about $13,000 less.
