Recently we wrote that border guards do not let cars from Crimea with Russian license plates into the mainland of Ukraine. This concerns vehicles registered in Crimea with the 'GIBDD' authorities and that received Russian plates and technical passports.

However, the state traffic inspectorate claims the opposite. In particular, this was stated by the head of the State Automobile Inspectorate Anatoliy Sirenko. According to him, from an interview with the agency 'Ukrayinski Novyny', Crimean cars with plates of the new region of Russia (82-1 and 92) have the right to enter the territory of Ukraine.
He also noted that at the moment cars with Crimean Ukrainian registration are entering the mainland.
