As of August 5, the queue at the Kerch ferry crossing in the Krasnodar Territory is currently 15 kilometers long.

According to the Interfax agency, waiting times reach up to 24 hours. The cause of this congestion was stormy weather and an increased flow of people wishing to get to the peninsula.

To somewhat ease the situation, traffic to the ferry is organized in a special order. First, the flow of cars is cut off at an intermediate holding parking lot. There are ticket offices and food outlets there. You have to wait up to 10 hours to leave for the road to the ferry. After that, a batch of 100 cars is gathered, and they head towards the crossing.

On the road from the parking lot to the port, you have to spend several more hours. The last holding area is located directly at the port. It is there that loading onto the ferry takes place.
