In this regard, temporary traffic restrictions are being introduced in the capital. As reported by the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, such measures are related to the arrival in Kyiv of foreign government delegations from a number of countries, as well as the need to ensure safety on the roads in the central part of the city.
The travel restriction will mainly affect the area near the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Presidential Administration, Sophia Square, and the museum complex "Mystetskyi Arsenal".
The Head of the Department of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Anatoliy Sirenko, called on car owners to treat the temporary inconveniences with understanding, plan their routes in advance, strictly follow the requirements of the Traffic Rules, instructions of traffic controllers, and road signs.
