The press service of the department told reporters of Korrespondent.biz that drivers will have to significantly reduce speed on two highways.

Capital works on the M-03 Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskyi and M-07 Kyiv-Kovel-Yahodyn highways continue. Thus, in the Kyiv region, as of October 11, repair works are underway on the section km 70 +450 - km 70 +550 of the M-03 Kyiv - Kharkiv - Dovzhanskyi road: the left side is closed here, cars are directed along the right.

In the Poltava region, on the same M-03 Kyiv - Kharkiv - Dovzhanskyi highway, restrictions have been introduced on a number of sections: km 145 +000 - km 155 +200 (left lane unavailable, traffic goes on the right), km 155 +200 - km 156 +370 (right lane closed, traffic on the left), km 185 +000 - km 191 +400 (left lane closed, passage on the right), km 239 +317 - km 242 +000 (right lane closed, traffic on the left), km 242 +000 - km 242 +600 (left lane unavailable, traffic follows on the right), km 246 +600 - km 255 +000 (left side closed, traffic on the right).

On the listed sections, traffic is organized alternately in both directions and controlled by traffic lights.

Recall that on April 21, 2009, Ukravtodor signed an agreement with the World Bank for a loan of $400 million. These funds were used to restore the 120-kilometer section of the Kyiv-Kharkiv-Dovzhanskyi highway between Boryspil and Lubny.

Earlier, Ukravtodor stated that preparing road infrastructure for Euro-2012 cost the country about $2 billion.
