US resident Mike Neal bought a Toyota Tacoma pickup truck in November 2007. He needs the vehicle for his job — the man services medical tomographs in Virginia and North Carolina.

Neal's work involves constant travel — he covers about 800 kilometers daily. Of course, the vehicle's appearance is far from perfect: the body shows signs of use. However, the interior has held up quite well.

During its use, the pickup needed a replacement of the power unit, but only after the odometer passed the 1.4 million kilometer mark. The gearbox was replaced at two million kilometers. These figures indicate an impressive resource of Toyota components.
By the way, the body-on-frame truck turned out to be quite economical: average fuel consumption stays in the range of 10-10.5 liters per hundred kilometers. For a heavy vehicle with a frame, this is a very respectable figure.
Mike is already thinking about buying a new car and, naturally, is looking at Toyota again. But he does not intend to send his current pickup to the scrap heap. The author of the YouTube channel AutoJeff Reviews, who prepared a video report about the Tacoma, advised contacting Toyota representatives with a proposal to exchange Neal's truck for a fresh model. After all, a pickup with such colossal mileage is quite worthy of a place in a museum or at an exhibition.
