The buyer himself reported the unusual incident – in the comments to the auction, many enthusiasts congratulated him on acquiring the desired car, but the man said that he would not be able to pick up the car because the seller had crashed it.

The auction platform Bring A Trailer confirmed this story, stating that the buyer was informed in a timely manner and received his money back (51 thousand dollars). “We are glad that no one was injured as a result of the collision,” the auctioneers noted.

A little later, the Instagram account Vistec R Imports published photos of the crashed Integra, and the Carfax report showed that the car had damage to the front and rear, although the damage was minimal.

The situation is indicative that any car that is put up for sale is better not to be driven. And even more so – if it has already been sold. Otherwise, such situations cannot be avoided.
It should be noted that the Acura Integra was produced from 1985 to 2006. In some markets, the coupe was sold under the Honda brand. In total, the car had four generations. The car involved in this story belongs to the third generation (1993-2001). The Type R version was equipped with a 1.8-liter 195-horsepower engine and a 5-speed manual transmission.
