The total height of the premises reaches 13 meters. This became possible thanks to a bold architectural solution and the favorable location of the gas station. The facility is located on several levels in the center of a large transport interchange and simultaneously serves two main highways that intersect at different heights.

On the lower level, cars moving along Bogatyrska Street towards the center of Kyiv from the Great Ring Road and the Vyshhorod direction can refuel. On the upper level – Luhova Street – it is convenient for those heading to Obolon from the side of Vynohradar or the Minskyi district to enter. “The company managed to design the facility in such a way as not to change the existing traffic pattern around this section and at the same time provide drivers with the most convenient and safe entry to the complex’s territory,” says Nazar Turkhan, director of the OKKO gas station network development department. “Given the limited territory and design features of the facility, during construction we applied a number of European innovative technologies, in particular the “wall in the ground” method for erecting the main retaining wall of the complex.”
On each of the two levels of the gas station, shops and cafes operate, and the intermediate floor between them is used for office premises. In total, the area of the internal premises of the new gas station is more than 700 square meters. On each of the two levels of the gas station, there are 5 fuel dispensers, one of which is for dispensing liquefied gas, so it can simultaneously serve 10 drivers. The gas station is equipped in compliance with accessibility standards so that people with special needs also have free access to all services.

The new gas station actively uses solar energy in its operation. On two canopies over the fuel dispenser areas and on the roof of the operator room, 100 solar panels with a total capacity of 27 kW are placed. This is enough to meet 25% of the gas station’s electricity needs.
In addition, the complex also includes 3 solar collectors, whose operation allows covering 100% of the gas station’s hot water needs throughout the warm season (April-September). In the future, it is planned to sell the electricity generated here on the energy market under the “green tariff”.
The gas station at the intersection of Bohatyrska and Luhova became the 33rd OKKO gas station in Kyiv and the 57th in the Kyiv region.
