The Thor and Vader hypercars have rolled off the assembly line at the Swedish brand's factory in Ängelholm. Their new owners will be able to test the cars as early as this coming weekend at a special event in southern Germany. The first public demonstration of the vehicles is scheduled for the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK.
Both cars are equipped with all available options, which were provided to customers at no extra charge. The hypercars also feature a new aerodynamic body kit.
Back in April, information emerged that Koenigsegg was finishing production of the Agera RS model, which holds several world speed records. The Agera RS was introduced in 2015 at the Geneva Motor Show. Over the entire production period, the Swedish company built 25 such cars.
Under the hood of the hypercar is a five-liter gasoline V8 engine with two turbochargers, which, with the optional 1MW package, produces 1,360 horsepower and 1,370 Nm of torque. According to the manufacturer, the car's top speed reaches 450 km/h. In the fall of 2017, the model became the fastest production car in the world, accelerating to 444.6 km/h on an 18-kilometer closed section of road between Las Vegas and Pahrump.
