The new product differs from the standard model with a recalibrated chassis, exterior and interior design, as well as a boosted engine.
In total, 205 new components and parts were used in the construction of the Lada Vesta Sport. The suspension features enlarged struts and rear shock absorbers, which reduced the vehicle's ground clearance to 162 mm. Additionally, engineers used reinforced brake mechanisms.
The sedan, which underwent a series of tests in a wind tunnel, received a new front bumper with a lower spoiler and fenders of a different shape.

The Lada Vesta Sport is equipped with a modernized 1.8-liter engine featuring new camshafts with a modified profile, an improved fuel system with higher pressure, recalibrated variable valve timing, as well as upgraded intake and exhaust systems.
The output of the unit increased from 122 to 145 hp (187 Nm of torque). The sedan can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.6 seconds, and its top speed is 198 km/h.
Additionally, the Lada Vesta Sport received a dynamic stabilization system with sport settings, which will allow "the car to go into a drift." Furthermore, ESC can be completely disabled.
The timing of sales launch, trim levels, and prices for the new Lada Vesta Sport will be announced later.
