In April, specialists conducted certified tests of the main brands of gasoline and diesel fuel.
Laboratory tests were carried out on the most popular grades of light petroleum products presented at Chipo gas stations: "A-92", "A-95" and diesel fuel. Samples were checked for key indicators — for gasoline, this is the octane number, which is responsible for resistance to detonation, the sulfur and benzene content, exceeding the norms of which is harmful both for the environment and for the engine, as well as the proportion of aromatic hydrocarbons and other parameters. The tests showed that the fuel fully meets the requirements of current standards.
The "Quality under Control" program provides for regular monitoring of fuel sold at domestic gas stations connected to this initiative. Every month, Institute experts make anonymous purchases of fuel at all stations of the customer network, then samples are sent to an accredited laboratory, where they are compared with the relevant DSTU standards. After the inspection is completed, the network management receives an independent conclusion that allows identifying weak points at specific gas stations and quickly eliminating them.
The head of LLC "Podillyanafotozbut" Yuriy Shyshkovskyi assessed the start of cooperation as follows: "We rely on imported fuel — this is our competitive advantage. We are confident in its quality, and the test results confirmed to customers that it meets Euro 5 standards."
The company's decision to join the program on a permanent basis indicates its attention to product quality and care for customers.
Reference: the Chipo gas station network has been operating since 2015. Currently, it includes 43 filling stations located in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, Rivne and Zakarpattia regions. The stations sell fuel from the Mozyr Refinery (Belarus) and Orlen (Poland).
Thanks to the inter-issuer agreement, holders of OKKO fuel cards and coupons are served at the company's gas stations (at Chipo network prices).
