The leader of the anti-rating was the Vauxhall (Opel) Astra SRi NAV. The only thing Clarkson remembered about this car was that it was "red and turbocharged." The host believes that such a car would suit those who just need "wheels and a seat."
The second place went to the Infiniti Q30 Premium Tech. Clarkson did not like the 2.2-liter diesel: in his words, the engine runs too noisily. "It seems the only task of this engine is to turn diesel into noise," the journalist jokes. However, he praised the car's appearance: "At least it looks good."
The top three is rounded out by the Skoda Superb SE L Executive. Clarkson calls it a cheaper version of the Volkswagen Passat. "There is no more soul in this car than in a refrigerator with a freezer," is the TV host's verdict.
The list of losers also includes the Zenos E10 S, Renault Kadjar Signature Nav, BMW X1 25d, SEAT Leon X-Perience SE Technology, Nissan GT-R Track Edition, Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDi, and Hyundai i800.
