According to brand representatives, the company hopes to increase production volumes and reduce the queue. At the same time, over the past 14 years, Koenigsegg has assembled only about 150 cars. And almost the entire production run of the brand's modern models has also already been sold out.

Currently, the Swedish brand has sold out the entire production run of the Agera hypercars (25 cars) and One:1 (seven units). So far, only the hybrid Regera remains in the lineup, the production version of which was presented in early March at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Koenigsegg Regera is equipped with a 1100-horsepower five-liter turbocharged V8, three electric motors, an 800-volt battery pack, and a single-speed transmission developed specifically for the hypercar. Such a car accelerates to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds, and reaches 200, 300, and 400 km/h in 6.6, 10.9, and 20 seconds, respectively.

In total, the Swedes plan to produce 80 units of the Regera. The model's price is over two million euros.
