Heads of Marussia Motors and the Yo-mobile project have effectively announced the winding down of their operations.

The company "Marussia," owned by showman and racing driver Nikolay Fomenko, is laying off employees and closing the project. According to Grigory Gomelchuk, a former employee of the NAMI institute, "Marussia" has come to an end. Some employees are moving to NAMI.

It is said that Fomenko had a falling out with the leaders of the "Kortezh" project, which involves the creation of a presidential limousine. Marussia Motors was also involved in its development.

The project and rights to the Yo-mobile, according to the publication "Kommersant," were sold by the owner of the company "Yo-auto," Mikhail Prokhorov, to the aforementioned NAMI for one euro. The project is effectively closed, although it seemed that serial production of unique hybrid cars was about to begin.
