The production of beer fuel was undertaken by the brewery DB Breweries and the local fuel supplier Gull Petroleum. The brewery turns yeast left over from brewing beer into ethanol. The fuel company then creates gasoline with an octane rating of 98 (!), in which the share of beer alcohol is 10%.
