The law provides for the introduction of a system of automatic photo and/or video recording of administrative offenses in the field of road safety. Receipts for violations recorded automatically will be sent to the address of car owners along with attached photo or video evidence.
After that, the car owner will have time to figure out whether he was driving the car at the time of the violation, or another person to whom the car was transferred. Everyone will have the right to appeal such a decision in court.
According to the text of the adopted law, fines for violating traffic rules will be charged to drivers after the use of penalty points.
The document states that every year a citizen who has the right to drive vehicles will be awarded 150 penalty points from the beginning to the end of the year, after using which, in case of traffic violations, the offender will have to pay fines.
In addition, the law contains a provision according to which an authorized employee of the National Police will be able to collect a fine on the spot using non-cash payment devices.
Confiscation of driver's licenses will be possible only by court decision.
