The updated version will differ from the original Haval H9, which debuted in 2014, both externally and internally. Thus, the car will get a new radiator grille (more massive and with vertical slats instead of horizontal ones), other bumpers (in particular, the front bumper lip has become chrome and acquired a different shape), "trimmed" headlights, as well as wheels with a new pattern. Inside, the main innovation will be a large 12.3-inch multimedia screen.

The car will also grow in dimensions. So, if its length is currently 4.86 m, now it will be over 5 m (width and height remain approximately the same). As before, the crossover will be available in 5- and 7-seat versions.

As for the technical part, the crossover has not been touched. In the domestic market, the Haval H9 2021 model year will be available with the same 2.0-liter turbo engine with 277 hp and a diesel engine with 190 hp. The units will be paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
